Ahab

Ahab is a German funeral doom metal band formed in 2004 in Essen, Germany. The band’s name is inspired by the character Captain Ahab from the novel “Moby-Dick” by Herman Melville.

The band’s music is characterized by its slow and heavy sound, incorporating elements of funeral doom and drone metal. Ahab’s lyrics often revolve around themes of oceanic mythology, with references to the sea, whales, and sailors.
